Liz and Jay R. - The Crystal Ballroom ________________________________________________________________ I just wanted to thank The Madison Event Center for everything you have done in the months and days leading up to my wedding. The reception hall looked perfect. Your staff was beyond helpful and professional. Your team leader was always making sure we were doing ok. I don't think Craig or I had to go to the bar once for a drink, and they knew us by name. It was a great night and am so thankful that we were able to work with the two of you. Please pass on my thanks to the whole staff that was helping that night. Thank you again, Stephanie - Grande Ballroom I just wanted to thank you for all your help with Stephanie and Craig's wedding last Saturday. We couldn't be happier with The Madison. The room was beautiful, the food great, and the staff awesome. The host, William, introduced himself as soon as I walked down the steps, and he was very helpful. Stephanie and Craig said the wedding party was very well attended to by the staff. Everyone loved the Goetta balls. If your chef would share the recipe, I'd love to have it. We had so many comments about how well things were run, how the timing on everything was amazing! A couple of people in particular I would like to compliment. Our captain, Randy, was just amazing! He was so efficient and helpful and yet not intrusive. Also, David, the bartender was awesome! The food and service was just terrific. Thank you so much for such a wonderful staff that just has that system down to a science. I was able to just relax and be ‘mother of the bride’ and not worry about anything! Thanks! Carol - Emerlad Ballrooom __________________________________________________________________ Dear The Madison, We just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help with our reception. Our reception was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! We and our guests had the best time. Will and the rest of the staff ( I can't remember everyone's name) were GREAT! They met us at the door and made sure that we were taken care of all night. Everyone was so friendly and the ballroom was beautiful, of course. Our guests were really impressed with the service, food, and overall atmosphere. I don't know if you heard, but a half hour before our reception was due to end, the power went out ( in most of Covington). Even though most people were gone and Deon and I were preparing to leave, the staff was hurrying around trying to figure out what was going on. Even with that unexpected challenge, they were all so great about making sure we had everything we needed and apologized for the power outage ( not that it was at all there fault). Overall, we had a blast and so did our guests. With all the wedding details to deal with, it was comforting to know that everything at the Madison was taken care of. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to you and the staff that served us that night! We really appreciate you all for making our wedding day a wonderful day!!! Cherie (Rivers) & Deon Short 6-18-2010 __________________________________________________________________ Hi Dear The Madison- Just wanted to send a note that I was so happy with the entire day! :) Karen was great bringing me and the entire (legal :o)) bridal party refreshments, and everyone commented on how wonderful the Loft looked. The only minor thing was the music from the ballroom below that started piping in right at the end of our ceremony. Definitely something we'll remember because we all started cracking up about it... but we could have moved the ceremony up earlier had we known. As far as the reception went-- oh my goodness!! It was fabulous! The entire crew was amazing-- the room looked immaculate, everyone commented on how great the bartender was, and (again) Karen was great! From taking drink orders for our entire table, to getting Mike and I our food from the buffet, to making sure I was keeping to my schedule, to calling for taxis to make sure people got home safely. I cannot say enough about this incredible woman! Great sense of humor and calming influence :) Everyone LOVED the food.... like woah! Major compliments to the chef. And I really appreciated how great the special dishes were-- all reported that they weren't expecting such wonderful meals and individualized treatment. I know that when you come in with a 3-page schedule, it's setting things up to be really perfect or really stressful... and things were sooo perfect. (And we're married! :)) Thanks again! All the staff was amazing and very accommodating. We had nothing to worry about. Jamie and I really couldn't have had a better experience for our wedding recption. We had our reception in the Galleria Ballroom of the Madison South on May 27th. You both made planning the event an effortless endeavor. As for the reception itself, I can not be complimentary enough especially when it comes to our coordinator, William. He took such excellent care of both of us and our guests. He managed the event, the guests, and any and all circumstances with great care and professionalism. The venue was beautiful, and while I didn't interact with them frequently, I received many compliments about the friendliness and competency of the rest of the staff. I am recommending the Madison to any and all people who are planning any kind of event. Thank You again and please pass my thanks on to the rest of your staff.
